My name is Renee and I have been taking piano lessons from Alicia for the past year.
My journey has been long as I had not played in over thirty years. Now as a senior citizen I am making slow progress but progress is being made.
Alicia has been encouraging, patient and a joy to work with. We are doing the lessons over the phone due to the COOVID situation. I look forward to our lessons and find Alicia to always be very patient and encouraging.
I will continue to work with her and enjoy he optimism and good humor. I feel condiment that my skills will improve.

Ms. Maedel understands how to push my teenager to practice and make good progress with her music, while keeping the lessons fun and stress free. Teens have a lot going on and can get overtired or overbooked sometimes, and Alicia knows when it is time to have a bit of fun with a lesson and when it’s time to buckle down and get work done. My daughter really enjoys Alicia’s upbeat lessons and her kind ways, and the online lessons have worked really well! EG
